This site is intended to be a very handy resource for anyone fishing in the Hastings area especially visitors to the area. The website features regularly updated information about the local fishing, conditions, matches and what is happening with our online store.

We have some super special clearance offers and some pretty unique products. Our secondhand section is also worth browsing regularly as it  always changing and a great place for a bargain or picking up a now discontinued item. 

Bait

We are blessed in this area with exceptionally good lugworm which is the top local bait for most species. Fresh lugworm (live or wrapped) is usually available (tide and weather permitting!) please call and we can reserve your requirements for collection. We can also send live yellowtail lugworm and wrapped black lug fresh, salted and frozen, see the bait section for details. Maggots, casters and worms are also normally available in the shop.

We carry a very extensive range of frozen baits for sea, coarse and carp. Please click on the bait section to see what we have in stock.

Opening Hours

The shop is open every day from 8am to 5:30pm except for Sunday when we close at 12 noon.  During July and August we are open on Sundays 8am to 4pm. We do not close for lunch or have early closing.  Please see the contact page for the phone number and map. The shop is easy to find on the A259 in the Old Town about 200 yards from the seafront - look for the black fish on the wall!
